Springeri Dottyback (Pseudochromis springerii)
|
Pestele Springeri Dottyback, also known as the Springer's Dottyback, or Springer's Pseudochromis, is primarily dark blue with three vertical face bands of light blue and deep blue outlines on the fins. A very curious fish with a distinctive personality, the springerii will provide years of enjoyment for the saltwater enthusiast.
A 30 gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of hiding places is ideal. It will prey on pests such as bristleworms in the aquarium, making this fish ideal for the reef aquarium. If more than one Pseudochromis will be maintained together in the aquarium, it is important to add them at the same time to the aquarium.
Pseudochromis are very hardy and durable fish making them a perfect addition for the novice or seasoned aquarist.
