Ocean Nutrition Coral Pellets 100 g Size Small 2,5 mm: Semi-moist pellets for corals

This ready-to-use coral food makes feeding your corals so much easier and more efficient. The soft, semi-moist pellet structure of these Coral Pellets ensures optimal acceptance by corals and the food can be digested exceptionally well. In addition, Coral Pellets are enriched with special, selected molecules that trigger a feeding stimulus in corals - the polyps fully open and are thus ready to take up the food.

Maximum quality

For maximum quality, the feed is packed in airtight aluminum bags. The bags, in turn, are filled with nitrogen to keep the feed as fresh as possible until the package is opened. This protective measure not only ensures fresh, nutrient-rich feed, it also protects the pellets from oxidation. This ensures that the nutrients in the feed are retained in full. 

Feeding according to specific needs in two sizes

For the different needs of corals, Ocean Nutrition offers two different sizes of Coral Pellets.

The small pellets (+- 2,5 mm) are developed for Ricordea and smaller LPS corals (like Acanthastrea, Blastomussa, Lobophyllia, etc.). They consist of small fresh planktonic prey objects such as copepods.

For larger LPS corals, we have formulated the large pellets (+/- 6 mm), a diet of larger planktonic prey objects such as krill. These pellets are about 6 mm, perfect for corals like Scolymia, Lobophyllia, Trachyphyllia, Duncanopsammia and Catalaphyllia.

Feed your corals only every other day to avoid overfeeding. Feed a maximum of 30% of the polyps in a coral Colony.
